Archipelago FILMXPRO – QUEST 57
FILMXPRO is a cinematic & film Lightroom preset collection inspired by alternative film processing techniques and experimental darkroom workflows. Designed for photographers who want bold color shifts, rich contrast, and textured tonal depth, this collection channels the spirit of analog experimentation with a modern, refined finish.
At its core, FILMXPRO captures the unpredictable beauty of cross-processed negatives, silver retention prints, and bleach bypass treatments – reimagined with precision control for today’s digital workflow.
FILMXPRO PROFILE: FILMXPRO includes a custom profile designed to enhance contrast and saturation with a refined filmic curve. It builds depth in shadows, preserves highlight detail, and gives colors a rich but controlled vibrancy – providing a strong foundation before you even touch a slider.
FXP 01: (Balanced X-Pro) A clean but expressive interpretation of cross-processing. Expect vibrant color separation, lifted contrast, and subtle shifts in shadows and highlights.
FXP 02: (Bold Alternative) A stronger, more stylized cross-processed look with deeper contrast and pronounced color shifts. Shadows carry mood and highlights pop with energy. This preset leans into the experimental side of film.
FXP 03: Drawing from silver retention and bleach bypass processes, FXP 03 blends controlled warmth with desaturated depth. Highlights carry a subtle golden tone while shadows fall into dense, textured blacks. The result is bold contrast, restrained color, and a dramatic cinematic atmosphere that still protects skin tones.
Cross-Processing (X-Pro) Tool: Adds vibrant color shifts and dynamic contrast reminiscent of traditional cross-processing. Layer for intensity or use subtly to energize flat light.
ENR (Silver Retention) Tool: Inspired by the ENR process, this tool enhances contrast while selectively reducing saturation – creating dense blacks and metallic tonal depth without fully stripping color.
Bleach Bypass Tool: Boosts contrast and texture while muting color for a gritty, cinematic finish. Perfect for adding drama and atmosphere.
