Fresh Trim is designed to help keep your timeline organized by trimming layers quickly according to a variety of attributes. In all the modes, you can trim the in-point and out-points of a layer by clicking the correlating button, trim only the in-point by holding CTRL or the out-point using ALT.
Trim to Keys
Trim selected layers to the first and last keyframe on the layer.
Trim to Parent
Trim selected layers that are a child will be trimmed to the parent layer.
Trim to Children
Trim selected parent layers to the first in-point and last in-point of all the child layers.
Trim to Matte
Trim the selected layers to the matte layer.
Trim to Matted
Trim selected matte layers to the first in-point and last in-point of all the matted layers.
