You can now add a track matte to your group layer and layers inside will follow suite, unless they have a pre-existing track matte. On releasing a group, any layers with the same track matte as the group layer will have their matte removed.

Big quality of life update: Right after making a group, the show layers button and other appropriate buttons are enabled. You can go straight to adding effects, moving the layer etc, without having to click off and back on to that layer.
PLUS, TRACK MATTES! You can now set a track matte for your group and on refresh all layers inside the group without a track matte will update to match.
When you ungroup, any layers that have the same track matte as the group will have that removed. Same goes for moving a layer out of the group.
