This plug-in is essentially a two ways corner pin effect but it’s not the corner pin you are used to. It is corner pin on steroids!
It computes direct transformation from one perspective space to another (“homography”)
WHAT DOES THIS EFFECT REALLY DO?
It undistorts the perspective of a plane (defined by user)
then re-distorts this plane into a new perspective (also defined by user).
Without any loss of defintion!
This is the same as using “Photoshop’s vanishingPoint Effect” and then moving
your layer in 3D or with a corner Pin Effect.
SO, WHY SHOULD I USE THIS EFFECT INSTEAD OF VANISHING POINT AND 3D OR CORNER PIN?
4 (main) reasons:
- 1_NO LOSS OF DEFINITION!
- This effects computes the 2 different distortions BEFORE image sampling.
- 2_EASY TO USE!
- No need to use Photoshop, work directly in After Effects!
- Just define the input Perspective area with 4 Selection points, then the output Perspective area with 4 Transformation points. (as easy as corner pin)
- You can even perform geometry changes in the selection perspective or the transformation perspective.

- You can change perspective just by dragging points.
