Quadspinner Gaea 2.1.0.0 Free Download

The Community Edition of Gaea is available for free for evaluation and non-commercial use.

There are no time or core usage restrictions, except build resolution. You can create and view terrains up to 4096 x 4096, and export up to 1024 x 1024.

New Features

Gaea 2.1 focuses on workflow improvements and stability. Build Regions allow you to isolate a portion of your terrain and build it at higher resolution and quality. The overhauled mesh workflow allows you to import meshes as heightfields, export heightfields as meshes with better efficiency and expanded support for various industry formats such as FBX, glTF, and more.

There are many new features such as New Nodes, Custom Overlays, Turntable Animations, Tangent-Space Normals, and more.

We have addressed over 100 issues that increase the stability of the software, including many top issues reported by users. We expect that you will find this the best version of Gaea yet!

Compatibility

Gaea 2.1 files are NOT backward compatible with older builds. Please make sure to back up your files before opening them in Gaea 2.1.

Gaea will try to automatically create a copy of the older file in the Autosave folder when opening it for the first time.
