Cobalt Image Silver Film Free Download
Our film emulations are the result of extensive research and testing to capture the essence and “mood” of specific film models. Our intention is not to imitate the exact results of a specific printed or projected film emulsion, as there are too many variables involved in the overall process – from film exposure and development to digital scanning – to accurately reproduce the exact “look” you may remember or admire. Instead, we offer the mood of the film as captured in our profiles, giving you the freedom to enhance your image using your own creative vision while preserving that unique mood.
Our profiles are more than just presets, they are carefully crafted colour profiles designed to help you achieve the desired look and feel of the film. It’s important to keep in mind that our profiles serve as a starting point for your creative process, and the final result you see on your monitor will not be the final product. However, the flexibility and freedom our profiles offer when using them to enhance or reduce the mood of your image is a valuable tool in your creative toolkit.
Discover the joy of using our profiles, knowing that each one is designed to capture the unique mood of the film it emulates.
Fuji Neopan
The famous Neopan pro negative film was discontinued in 2013. Medium contrast and very fine grain with a big amount of grey shades make this monochrome signature perfect for your daylight pictures as the starting point of your editing.
Shadows are never compressed and there is a clear extension of the highlights
You will enjoy the general-purpose attitude from this emulation. We offer two different grain settings, 400 ISO and 1600 ISO.
Ilford Delta
This is the emulation of the Ilford Delta negative film, both 400 and 3200 versions.
This emulation is excellent for general photography; where is important the amount of tones in the whole frame. The contrast is medium to low and the extreme sides of the histogram are quite soft. The grain is very fine on the 400 ISO and very large on 3200 ISO version.
Ilford Hp5+
This is the Ilford Hp5+ emulation, the famous panchromatic film. This monochrome signature is ideal with its vintage look. The combination of low contrast, open shadows and highlights and the medium to high grain are perfect for your cool pictures.
Enjoy the “almost human” colour reproduction with no saturation of this emulation with his lovely grey tones for your general photography. As 400 ISO the grain is bigger than the average.
Kodak HIE
This is the emulation of the Kodak High-Speed Infrared Film (HIE).
This emulation is excellent for landscape but also for different kinds of portrait pictures.
We kept “under control” the effect of glow typical by this film including it with a low value, to enhance the IR reading on the green channel on the image and to add more freedom to the editing.
You will love the feeling of this preset on your editing process and the add of the medium to hard grain is the cherry on top!
Kodak T-Max
This is the emulation of the Kodak T-Max negative film.
The film was famous for its incredible details and the extended contrast with both shadows and highlights well detailed. The superfine grain and the excellent details with the superb tone extension make this emulation the closest to the modern era digital black and white images. The grain are emulated in both 400 and 3200 ISO.
Kodak Tri-X
This is the emulation of Kodak Tri-X monochrome negative film.
This is one of the most iconic films in the history of photography and is typically known for its enhanced contrast on the black side. The emulation gives that contrast with more “closed” blacks and capped whites on a compressed histogram. The fine but cool grain completes the vintage and classic look!
